When Redesign applications are hosted with the MCOECN: - Applications are running in a Tanzu Kubernetes cluster created specifically for your ITC. The MCOECN Data Center team manages the infrastructure for your hosted applications with Kubernetes tools and scripts that allow us to scale and manage a very large number of applications with minimal effort.
- Applications are running on a very large VMWare cluster made up of 9 ESX hosts with a total of 13.5 TB 16TB of memory.
- Applications are monitored for issues (restarts, crashes)
- All applications are backed up nightly.
- Your ITC technical teams do not have to learn how to deploy and manage Kubernetes.
- Your ITC technical teams no longer have to manage Docker or use your own computer resources to run Redesign (which can be quite extensive).
- Your ITC technical teams do not have to manage a proxy such as NGINX.
- You get the benefits of automation without the headaches of managing it yourself.
- Through our ever expanding catalog of options in the MCOECN Cloud and Automation Portal (VRA) anyone ITC Fiscal Staff can manage your deployments with very minimal technical knowledge of no need to learn the underlying infrastructure. Management of Redesign can be done by ITC Fiscal Staff, freeing up ITC Tech
This frees up your ITC Technical staff for other projects.
- The MCOECN Data Center team builds new VRA Catalog Items based on ITC feedback, to continue to improve the experience.
And, it is FREE to any ITC who wishes to host with MCOECN!! While we cannot guarantee it will be free forever, it will definitely be free through FY23, and if a fee must MUST be assessed in the future, the cost will be as minimal as possible. |
